Oil in your pan catches fire. First?

Drag the first move here

Drag a card into the slot, or tap it.

Small real moments, one clear first move.

From a pan on fire to a friend at the door, every scene is something you could meet this week. Pick one to play it above.

How a round goes

Every answer teaches something. A wrong pick never shows the answer: you get a hint and try again, so you work it out yourself.

  1. A round: you smell gas in the kitchen, with four picture cards to choose from

    See the scene

A picture, a short question and four sensible moves. All four make sense. Only one comes first.

  2. After a wrong pick: Not quite. Think again, with a hint about safety

    Drag what comes first

Picked the wrong one? The game says "Not quite" and gives a hint, like "Think about what keeps people safe".

  3. The right card in the slot, with the reason it comes first

    Learn why

Find it and you see the reason in one line. Get it right first time for the most points.

Ways to play

Play a few scenes on the bus, or race your friends for the top spot.

The home screen: today's daily, levels, practice and today's missions

A new daily, every day

Five new scenes picked for you each day, with a fresh set at midnight Lagos time. Keep your daily streak going and finish the day's missions for extra points.

The level map, with cleared levels and their stars

Hundreds of levels

Climb the level map one scene at a time. Earn up to three stars per level, unlock new characters as you go, and play anywhere: levels work without internet.

  • Lives refill on their own while you wait
  • New levels arrive every week
A finished friend challenge: Chinedu beat Ada, 5 of 5 against 3 of 5

Challenge your friends

Start a duel or a group of up to 12, and share the code on WhatsApp. Everyone plays the same five scenes; the most right answers wins, then the fastest.

The weekly tournament: free entry, 20 questions, ranked by most correct, then fastest

The weekly tournament

Twenty scenes a week, the last five opening on Saturday. Entry is always free. You are ranked by most right answers, then by total time.

The leaderboard, with Chinedu in first place

Leaderboards and your style

See where you stand against everyone, your friends, or this week's players. As you play, the game learns your priority style: do you check first, stay safe first, build foundations first, or think of people first?

Meet the cast

Twelve characters from Lagos to Amsterdam appear in the scenes. Climb the level map to unlock them, and choose one as your avatar.

Questions

Is PRIORITY free?

Yes. The game is free to play, with ads. You can buy optional things like Remove ads, Premium or coins, through Google Play or the App Store. Entry to every competition is free, and buying never helps you win.

Who is it for?

Players aged 13 and over. Players aged 13 to 17 see scenes chosen for them, and only teen-rated ads. Prizes, when they run, are only for players aged 18 and over.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Levels, practice and the daily set play on your phone, online or not. Your answers are saved and sent when you are back online. Friend challenges, the weekly tournament and the leaderboards need a connection.

How do I keep my progress on a new phone?

Open Settings, then Account and privacy, and add an email and password. On the new phone, sign in with the same email.

Are there right answers?

Every scene has four sensible moves. One of them must happen first, for a reason: what cannot be undone, what keeps people safe, what everything else depends on, or the people around you. After each scene, the game tells you why.

Which languages does it speak?

English, French and Dutch, with Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa in beta while native speakers check the words. You can change the language in Settings.

How do I delete my account?

In the game: Settings, then Account and privacy, then Delete my account. You can also ask us on the web.

Play what comes first.

PRIORITY is free on Android and iPhone. Start with one scene and see how far your judgement takes you.
